The Nelson R. Beideman Center for Responsible Fisheries strongly supports the open sharing of all data collected in accordance with the research that we undertake. The Center believes that the availability of the data has a direct correlation on the ability for users to develop innovative practical applications for public benefit.
Under certain conditions, the Center will redact certain Personally Identifiable Information from data released to the public. Also, in the event that certain data is unable to be effectively shared on the Internet, interested persons should contact us for an appointment to review the data at our offices or those of our research partners.
